Pair got into fight earlier today after he found a 'voodooed' locket on tree
A man who thought his sister-in-law was a witch chopped off her head in a savage attack.

The suspect only known as 'Uttam' is on the run after carrying out the decapitation on sister-in-law Dhandevi using a gandasa, a type of heavy knife, in northern India earlier today.
Police said he suspected his sister-in-law of carrying out witchcraft and black magic on his family in the Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh.
Uttam blamed her sister for his brother Thakur's death on February 5.
He had accused her of tying a voodooed locket on a tree outside their house, which he believed had resulted in his brother's death, according to The Times of India.

Earlier today eyewitnesses saw Uttam finding a voodooed locket again causing a fight between himself and Dhandevi.
He again accused her of attempting to kill someone in his family by her witchcraft. Though she kept denying, Uttam picked up the knife and brutally hacked her to death with 15 blows to the head.
Uttam subsequently fled the scene. The police have launched a murder investigation and are searching for him.
