'Shop keeper's lucky day'

 The attempted murder took place in a shop in central Brazil’s State of Goias
Two bullets hit the victim, who has since been treated by medical staff
The attacker was identified as a someone already on the run for a murder

Terrifying footage of a bungling hitman attempting to execute a shop owner at point-blank range has been published online.
At one stage the petrified target even picks up cardboard to try and hide behind as the gunman continues to fire.
Yet despite the close proximity, only two of the bullets managed to hit the target, with one of them only grazing the man on the side of the head.

Only one bullet struck home, hitting the victim in the stomach after travelling through the cardboard but medics say that after treatment, he is now out of danger.
The attempted murder was caught by CCTV in the small Brazilian town of Araguapaz in central Brazil’s State of Goias.

The attacker got away but police were able to identify him through the footage as somebody who was already on the run for a murder carried out last year. 
An investigation is underway.
