A woman sexually abused young teenage girls by pretending to be a man using a prosthetic penis.
Jennifer Staines, 23, assaulted three young women while posing as a man called Jason Spiller. She groomed her victims using fake social media profiles, which she created under the false name and claimed she was "looking for love".
Staines even went on holidays with the girls - changing in toilets to disguise her real shape - and one of the relationships lasted more than a year.
During five years of deception she even managed to convince their families into believing that she was a he, Bristol Crown Court heard.
To stop her victims from realising the truth, Staines would not allow them to touch her body - although she could touch them, the court heard.
She used condoms with her victims, who were aged between 12 and 17, although on one occasion one of the girls went to her doctor concerned she could be pregnant.
Staines, of Lockstock Hall, Preston, was jailed for 39 months after admitting four sexual assaults and two counts of assault by penetration. She also admitted two counts of possessing indecent photos of one of the teenagers during a hearing on Wednesday.
Judge Barry Cotter QC said Staines "planned carefully to deceive".
He told her: "You did everything to ensure you had the ability to engage in relationships in which they believed you were a gender you were not. I can't determine whether it was for love, love and sex, or just sex."
The court heard how Staines met her victims online and they believed they were talking to a man. Her behaviour was eventually exposed in September 2014, when the mother of one of the victims contacted police as she suspected "Jason" was not real.
Officers then visited "his" home and discovered that he was actually Staines, complete with a prosthetic penis covered in incriminating DNA.
Detective Constable Nadine Partridge, of Avon and Somerset Constabulary, said: "Her actions were driven by her own selfish desires and although her victims 'consented' to sexual activity with her, they were deceived about the true nature of what they were engaging in.
"The manipulation was so extreme that one of her victims still struggles to believe she was actually in a relationship with a woman, not a man."
Police believe there might be more victims and have appealed for anyone who may have been contacted by Staines, posing as Jason, to contact them.
