Earlier in his career, John, left, worked as a drag queen in Chicago under the name Lady Vera Parker
John reneged on the deal and was taken to court by the California-based PR firm.
In 2009 John, who was working as Lady Vera Parker, took security deposits from people looking for accommodation from Craigslist before running off with the cash.
According to court records, the company: 'completed all the services of helping him build and exaggerate in the press his public profile as a believable psychic medium.'
During a colourful career, John claims he predicted Whitney Houston's death and the split of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.
He also said he had spoken with former Playboy model Anna Nicole Smith after her death.
In a statement to the Daily News, John claimed: 'The matter has already been settled out of court. I’ve worked with a number of publicists with great success and respect the profession tremendously.'
However ZTPR president Zack Teperman said his lawyers were still dealing with the case.
He said: 'Our legal team is currently finalizing an out-of-court settlement with Mr. Flanagan. We will have no further comment.'

If you hire a firm to clean up your past the worst you can do is stiff them for money as they know how to get you in the public eye in the first place.
