Angry: A news report by Fox 40 shows a video uploaded by the unnamed hijab-wearing woman to social media in which she accuses a religious group of targeting her during a protest
The transit comoany have since spoken with the woman. 'It's of paramount importance to us to maintain the employee and customer safety, so we're looking into the matter very closely,' said Max Vargas, public affairs manager with San Joaquin RTD.

Racist: The Californian woman, a bus driver for San Joaquin Regional Transit, said a Christian group targeted her when they protested on Monday because of her faith - an accusation they deny
'Looked like it was a widespread community outreach effort by a particular faith group and church that was making its way throughout the city,' Vargas said.
The purported offending group is Stockton's Victory Outreach. Youth Pastor Luis Alvarez told FOX 40: 'There's no way that we pointed her out and singled her out for her religion, her beliefs... I think she's making this story out of something that it's not. Really, there's no story here.'
He maintains the protest was what they call Evangelism, a way to share their faith with the public and they did nothing wrong.
'We don't even know who she is. I never knew, you know, we never knew anything about her until she mentioned us,' Alvarez said.
The school district says their hate crime investigation is based on this one complaint.
The woman did not answer when FOX 40 reached out to her.
Who? 'We don't even know who she is. I never knew, you know, we never knew anything about her until she mentioned us,' Alvarez said
