Naaman Healed of Leprosy

5 Now Naaman was commander of the army of the king of Aram. He was a great man in the sight of his master and highly regarded, because through him the Lord had given victory to Aram. He was a valiant soldier, but he had leprosy.^[a]

² Now bands of raiders from Aram had gone out and had taken captive a young girl from Israel, and she served Naaman’s wife. ³ She said to her mistress, “If only my master would see the prophet who is in Samaria! He would cure him of his leprosy.”

⁴ Naaman went to his master and told him what the girl from Israel had said. ⁵ “By all means, go,” the king of Aram replied. “I will send a letter to the king of Israel.” So Naaman left, taking with him ten talents^[b] of silver, six thousand shekels^[c] of gold and ten sets of clothing. ⁶ The letter that he took to the king of Israel read: “With this letter I am sending my servant Naaman to you so that you may cure him of his leprosy.”

⁷ As soon as the king of Israel read the letter, he tore his robes and said, “Am I God? Can I kill and bring back to life? Why does this fellow send someone to me to be cured of his leprosy? See how he is trying to pick a quarrel with me!”

The character made explicit remarks about Leviston and taunted rap rival Rick Ross, who at the time was trading barbs with Fifty via video, lyrics and interviews. 50 Cent got the 2008 tape from the man in it - Leviston's boyfriend at the time.

Thomas asked Eisenstein, who was arguing that a federal ban on gun ownership for people who are convicted of low-level domestic violence offenses at the state level should apply if the offense was committed "recklessly."

Woman Waving Child’s Severed Head Is Arrested in Moscow

 A visibly disturbed woman was arrested on Monday after witnesses said they saw her waving the severed head of a small child outside a Moscow subway station.



 A Russian television network, REN TV, posted images from video that appeared to show the woman dressed in black and shouting incoherently. The Interfax news agency identified her as Gulchekhra Bobokulova, 38, a native of Uzbekistan, and said she was the child’s nanny. The child’s body was found near the subway station in an apartment that had been set on fire, the news agency said. Investigators issued a statement saying the woman had been charged with killing the child, who was 3 or 4, and that she appeared to be mentally unstable.

A shocking e-cigarette explosion has been caught on camera - as a battery bursts into flames in a man’s pocket just inches from his seven-year-old son.

Mick Bennett, 47, was severely burned and spent 10 days in Wythenshawe Hospital in Manchester, needing skin grafts.
He has also lost some feeling in his leg due to nerve damage.
Mick, from Bamford, Rochdale , had been skating around Bury Roller Rink with two of his children when the battery “went off like a rocket”.

A lawmaker in Idaho has come under fire for suggesting rape does not lead to pregnancy because it is too traumatic.

In a bizarre statement during a debate about abortion on Thursday, Rep Pete Nielsen (R) suggested consent is a biological factor in a woman's ability to conceive.

His words came shortly before Republicans passed a bill to make it compulsory for abortion providers to tell all women where they can get a free ultrasound.

Pro-choice activists argue the rule is a way to emotionally manipulate women into keeping a baby, and opponents of the bill cite rape and incest victims as examples of a right to an abortion.  

Rep Nielsen, however, dismissed this argument, saying that victims of rape cannot get pregnant.

It's the biggest night on the Hollywood calendar. 

And A-list guests at the 88th annual Academy Awards made sure to shine in glamorous outfits on the red carpet outside the Dolby Theatre on Sunday.

Jennifer Lawrence was one of the last stars to walk the red carpet, but she certainly didn’t disappoint.

Cate was another star to pick an embellished gown, in the form of a pale blue creation which had a low-cut neckline and was adorned with feathered flowers.

(2) PRAYER: Eternal Father, You prepared a holy tabernacle, the womb of the Blessed Virgin Mary, for Your only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Blessed be the womb which bore the only Son of God.

Father, Your begotten Son was born in Bethlehem and laid in a manger because there was no room in the inn for Him and His parents. It was so that the world will seek the Kingdom of Heaven rather than the perishable wealth of this world.

Father, this indicated that Your own people were not ready to welcome their King, Redeemer and Creator. There was no room for the King of heaven and earth in His own land.

Lord, You came to Your own people and they did not recognize You. As a King, You came to your own country and they did not know You. When they heard of You they planned for Your death. With that plan, they killed numerous children. A bitter cry and lamentation was echoing in Your land as a welcome for the King. Women refused to be comforted because their children were dead.

Jesus, You bore all these things for the love You have for Your people. But Your people continued sinning and doing all kinds of evil against You and Your Heavenly Father. As a King, they regarded You as their enemy. As a Redeemer, You were a predator to Your own people, whom You saved. Who will, in remembering Your mercy and kindness to Your people, console You enough?

Take consolation. Be comforted, O loving Jesus Christ. May the voice of Your heavenly choirs of angels and archangels praise You and console You. Amen.

Honor and adoration be unto You O Divine Love.Praise and worship be unto Your name, O loving Jesus Christ. Take consolation, O Agonizing Jesus Christ, the reward You received from Your people for Your benevolence was sin. They sinned and blasphemed day and night against Your Holy Name. They fought against You and disobeyed Your commandments.

The Apple founder tragically passed away at 56 of pancreatic cancer in October of 2011. He left behind his wife, his four children, and apparently a ticket he paid too much for or paid twice, despite his known efforts to eliminate the possibility of ever getting a ticket.

Jobs changed his car every six months to avoid so he having to get a license plate, which is loophole in the rules in the state of California.

Former president, Bill Clinton (pictured), was campaigning for Hillary Clinton in South Carolina, when a former Marine interrupted his speech to attack Hillary on Benghazi. The veteran asked him to address what Hillary was going to do about Veteran's Affairs. Clinton insisted that the Marine should 'shut up and listen', but instead he yelled that Hillary 'tried to cover up' four deaths in Benghazi (inset), which drew jeers from the crowd. The Marine was then escorted from the building (right) and another woman stood up and made similar accusations. She said that 'Hillary lied over four coffins'. Security forcibly escorted her out of the building as Clinton's Secret Service agent moved closer to him.

Pantsula, South Africa's 'Street' Dance Culture. Fascinating, Eclectic,Mesmerising

Pantsula isn’t just a dance, but a way of life in Johannesburg’s townships.

Precise and technical footwork, to the accompaniment of house music, pantsula dancers use hectic city streets as their stage surrounded by traffic, pedestrians and vendors. 

Many of the troupes practice several hours a day ... they have become recognized leaders and entertainers in their townships.

South African photographer Chris Saunders, began a two-month magazine assignment to document the pantsula phenomenon, which turned into a six-year journey through his homeland. Watch the video and read about the evolution of this dance culture

A grouping of skandia dancers who make their income individually by dancing outside bars and in nightclubs for extra money. Skandia dancing is pantsula, but not in a group.

With precise and technical footwork, often to the accompaniment of house music, pantsula dancers use hectic city streets as their stage surrounded by traffic, pedestrians and vendors. With ample skill and dedication, many of the troupes practice several hours a day and have become recognized leaders and entertainers in their townships.

“The guys are trying to spread a message of better living through the dance,” said Saunders, who first started taking pictures of pantsula dancers for the 2010 Dance issue of Colors magazine. “Everywhere you walk down a road, there’s kids playing, people dancing, people barbecuing … it’s got a vibe. It’s street culture.”

In a move condemned by transgender advocates, school superintendents in Texas have overwhelmingly approved a change that requires public school officials to use a birth certificate to determine a student athlete’s gender.

Poles Take To The Streets In Support Of Lech Walesa. Protest Conservative Govt

Thousands of Poles chanting "We will defend democracy!" and "Lech Walesa!" rallied Saturday in Warsaw to protest moves by Poland's three-month-old conservative government that they say undermine freedoms and the constitution.

The march was organized by the Committee for the Defense of Democracy, which was formed in November in reaction to moves by the ruling Law and Justice party that have essentially paralyzed the Constitutional Tribunal, preventing it from acting as a check on new government legislation.

"We want a free and open Poland ... a Poland where there is room for everyone," said the head of committee, Mateusz Kijowski.

Thousands gathered in the cold, waving flags and banners and listening to speeches that condemned the government. Police estimated the crowd at 15,000, while Warsaw city hall, which is aligned with the political opposition, said 80,000 people took part.

Former Solidarity leader and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Lech Walesa

Many people held up images of Walesa, the former Solidarity leader and ex-president who has faced revived allegations that he was a communist-era secret police informer in the 1970s, before he founded Solidarity, the freedom movement which eventually helped to topple communism.

The protest was held under the slogan, "We the people," — the opening words of the preamble of the U.S. Constitution and also the words that Walesa used when he triumphantly addressed the U.S. Congress in 1989, when communism collapsed across Eastern Europe.

A Texas man is accused of selling the home of his dead former landlord whose corpse was found encased in concrete so he could pocket more than $100,000. Police are ruling 57-year-old Ronald Shumway's death, reported missing in April, a homicide, according to the Dallas News.

They have not said whether his neighbor, former newspaper photographer Christopher Brian Colbert, 43, killed Shumway but they believe he posed as the owner of his Oak Cliff home after he went missing. Shumway owned the property for over 30 years.

Police are still on the hunt for former Dallas Voice photographer Colbert who they say forged signatures on documents, and superimposed his photo over his dead former landlord's ID, according to NBC.

This is the astonishing moment a 4x4 manages to navigate an almost vertical rocky cliff face to gasps of amazement and applause from onlookers.

The impressive footage was filmed near Beijing in China and shows the large vehicle maneuvering itself into an almost completely upright position before attempting the daring feat.

The video was filmed on February 12 and shows people directing the large vehicle up the almost sheer wall of rock as they shout and cheer encouragement.
