A transgender woman has been jailed for eight years in a male prison after being found guilty of raping a 15-year-old girl when she was a man.
Davina Ayrton, who changed her name from David three years ago, launched the attack on the vulnerable girl 11 years ago despite demands from her to stop and get off of her.
Ayrton, who today wore a fur coat and a leopard print shirt in the dock, was 23 at the time and used her weight to lie on top of the young victim so she could not move.

The young girl tried to slap Ayrton, now 34, and struggled as he 'slobbered on her face' while trying to kiss her in a garage where two friends of hers were sleeping.
The effects of that night had 'scarred' the life of her victim, who was 'hysterical' and 'lived in fear' after the incident in Autumn 2004, Portsmouth Crown Court , Hants, heard.
Sentencing Ayrton, who has not had gender reassignment surgery, Judge Ian Pearson said: "The victim was aged 15, she was a vulnerable child absconder from school and absconder from home.

Convicted: Davina Ayrton raped the vulnerable 15-year-old girl when she was 23 and a man
"In the passage of time, the traumatic effects of that night have not lessened with regards to the victim.
"She has done well with her life, she has recovered to some extent but her victim impact statement shows that the scars and effects will never leave her."
He continued: "I do accept your background is a very difficult one, you were the subject of sexual abuse yourself and the cycle continues with you being an abuser.

"I accept you have significant mental health issues and you are agonising over your gender issues and wish to live as a woman albeit no operation has been carried out yet."
Aryton will serve her sentence in a male prison, according to the Portsmouth News.
The victim, who is from Portsmouth and cannot be named for legal reasons, told police in interviews: "I know it was over quickly but it felt like it was forever."
She said they had both been drinking alcohol and Ayrton held one of her arms while the other was trapped against the back of the sofa.

Victim of past abuse: Davina Ayrton will serve 9 years in a male prison.

In her victim impact statement, she said: "I was a young girl when David Ayrton raped me. At the time I didn't trust the police, and I didn't want to make a statement.
"I have never forgotten the incident. I will never forget how he forced himself on me.
"I was hysterical, and I lived in fear all the time.
"I thought I was a real tough cookie but clearly I wasn't."
When it came to making a police statement later in her life, she said: "I was initially shocked and all the awful memories of that night came flooding back to me."
The crime was reported to police at the time, but the victim refused to speak until Ayrton confessed the rape to a fellow colleague in 2014.

Ayrton claimed the confession did not happen, but the court heard Ayrton told the worker 'that she had done something that she shouldn't have done, that she raped somebody'.
Ayrton, from Fordingbridge in the New Forest, Hants, had medium-length greasy hair at the time of the attack.
She denied the attack but following her conviction she was held at a male prison in Winchester, Hants.
She has learning difficulties and was made subject to a hospital order in 2007 when she was convicted at court of a count of arson.
After the rape, the victim did not want to move and only told a handful of people about it.
Ayrton said that on the night in 2004, she had drunk four cans of Foster's lager.
The judge said Ayrton must also register as a sex offender for life, and must serve half her sentence before she can be released on license.
