A husband is facing life in jail for battering his wife to death with a hammer after she sold his ticket to see an Elvis tribute band.
Paul Abbott, 56, lashed out at his 54-year-old wife Jacqueline in December last year after finding out that she had sold his concert ticket on eBay.

The pair were described by neighbours as being 'Elvis mad' and regularly went to conventions and tribute acts together.
Mrs Abbott also visited Graceland, a mecca for Elvis fans, and regularly posted photographs to Facebook in which she posed with different Elvis impersonators .
One resident said: 'She was really into Elvis, there was loads of pictures of him around the home.
'They were both big fans of him though. They went to loads of tribute nights and I think a couple of conventions too. But you would never think an argument over Elvis Presley would lead to a murder.'
Today, Abbott pleaded guilty at Wolverhampton Crown Court to murdering his wife.
Judge John Wait told Abbott that he would be jailed for life, but adjourned the case so he could determine the minimum term he will spend behind bars. He was remanded in custody and will be sentenced at a later date.

West Midlands Police said Mrs Abbott had been away from home for a few days and had returned home when the row broke out.
Detective Sergeant Indi Basra said: 'She and her husband were due to attend a performance of an Elvis tribute band that evening.
'They had had an argument as she had sold his ticket - he saw a hammer in the landing area and picked it up and struck her a couple of times.'
He told an inquest in December how officers received a call at 4.30pm from worried neighbours about a disturbance coming from the property.

Since her death, tributes have flooded in for the grandmother, who lived with Abbott and their two sons Martyn and Ryan.
Michelle Lane, who had known Mrs Abbott - known as Jackie - for six years, also said the community had been affected by her death.
She said: 'She was a really lovely and nice lady. This has affected the whole community because she has lived around here for a good few years.
'It all come completely out of the blue and everyone on the road is in complete shock.
'You hear about this sort of thing on the news but you never expect it happen a few doors up. It's such a shame what's happened and it's very sad.'
A teenager, who wished not to be named, added: 'She was a lovely lady and everyone on the estate knew her. My brother went to school with her sons.
'It was a real shock when I found out and I didn't know what to believe at first. Then we found out what we'd heard was true. No one could believe it.'
Neighbours say the pair previously ran a snooker club in the borough and the couple had lived for 10 years at the property.
They ran a fishing tackle shop called J & P Fishing Snooker Darts with Mrs Abbott listed as company secretary. Abbott is listed as the director.
