Floyd Mayweather Jr has always enjoyed doing things to excess - so perhaps we shouldn't be surprised that he has hired a a man mountain, a truly humongous human specimen as his personal bodyguard.

Is this for show or does he truly need this scary fellow for protection? This is over the top, even for Floyd, the world's fastest boxer who just retired undefeated. Oh wait, Floyd would only punch your face if he is paid a boat load of money.
You would think the man who faced down Manny Pacquiao, Oscar Dela Hoya among other illustrious opponents, would be more than capable of looking after himself.
However, Mayweather has always had a larger than life image. No surprise that he has not only hired a bodyguard, but the heaviest he could find
