Matter of fact, Tyga laughed off the story of Paul McCartney party snub on Jimmy Kimmel and invited the humiliated Beatle to his next gig
The truth: Paul McCartney was not rejected from Tyga's Grammy afterparty according to staff at the venue (above on Monday)
Paul McCartney was denied access to Tyga's Grammy afterparty Monday night because he turned up at the wrong event.
The singer was denied entrance at The Argyle in Hollywood because he
believed he was at Hyde Sunset Kitchen & Cocktail, where Mark
Ronson was hosting a party with Republic Records.
A representative for The Argyle told TMZ
that McCartney went on his way when he realized his mistake and added
that they would have happily let the singer in if he had decided to stay
and party.
That does not explain however why the singer spent so long outside wondering why he was not being let into the club.

Tyga (above) also appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live Tuesday night joking
about the incident and inviting McCartney to his LA show later this
month
One guest
who did get into the club, Bow Wow, had a more interesting response
when told about what happened at The Argyle in Hollywood on
Monday night.
The
singer turned actor said after learning McCartney could not get past
the bouncer; 'Maybe it’s the fact that we’re younger than Paul . . . and
we really club and we really go out.'
It
was not just McCartney who was confused either, as he was also joined
by Beck, Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins and actor Woody Harrelson.
McCartney, who was accompanied by his wife Nancy Shevbell, was heard joking at one point; ''How VIP do we gotta get?'
He
then tried a second time to get inside but was rebuffed once more, and
again made light of the situation, joking: ‘We need another hit guys, we
need another hit’, before looking exasperated.

Tyga said
early Tuesday that he had nothing to do with Sir Paul McCartney being
denied access to the party, but stopped short of actually apologizing to
the iconic singer.
'I
don't control the door. I had no knowledge SIR PAUL was there. I just
performed and left,' wrote Tyga on Twitter Tuesday morning.
'Why would I deny @PaulMcCartney stop it. He's a legend.'
Tyga
later appeared on Jimmy Kimmel live to speak about the incident, and
was asked by Kimmel if he thought McCartney would respond with a diss
track.
Tyga
said he did not think this as McCartney if the 'O.G.' but did invite
him to his show on February 26 at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.
