The
holders of one of three winning tickets from last month's $1.58billion
Powerball jackpot identified themselves on Wednesday, as they claimed
their stake in the record-breaking drawing.
David
Kaltschmidt, 55, and Maureen Smith, 70, claimed the prize at an
afternoon press conference at Florida Lottery headquarters in
Tallahassee on Wednesday.
The
married couple chose to take their prize in a one-time lump-sum payment
of $327million before taxes. Smith said the decision to take the
lump-sum instead of the annuity was based on her age.

the couple says they aren't sure what they are going to do with the
money just yet, Kaltschmidt says he is going to retire now that they are

He
says he works as a aircraft engineer at a Florida firm, and that his

The other two winning tickets for the January 13 drawing were bought in Munford, Tennessee, and Chino Hills, California.
